1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills the water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just moving the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
This robot combo is easy to setup and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it is sometimes hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent with a pair of spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease by avoiding pet hairs as well as other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't clean up cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that lets it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums cannot. This device also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction if required. The app allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of and is a great feature.
