The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.

He tests and evaluates cleaning appliances. His main focus is mopping and robot vacuum combinations. Multitaskers are an excellent choice for those who are looking to remove mopping from their to-do lists. They feature impressive mapping and obstacle avoidance capabilities, and some wash and refill their mopping pads for a hands-off clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mop, this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other options on this list making it easier to navigate into tight corners and underneath furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery midway through cleaning.

It is very quick and does a great job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one motion. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt, pet hair, and poop with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs, and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as impressive. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high rate and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out slightly more than other robots, which is useful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. Those same front arms can be used to sweep larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It doesn't produce the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming, and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's simple to install and works well however, it's something you'll have to be aware of if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want a highly effective, versatile, and customizable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the house, identify furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean effectively and efficiently. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning, while also being relatively rapid.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad is capable of reaching many surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other difficult to reach spots. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor close to the walls and other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads are able to be washed and dried to avoid build-up and lessen the odors.

Another feature worth mentioning is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo allows you to alter the strength of suction and select between a back-andforth, or a more randomized pattern. You can also choose the number of passes which will determine how quickly it can move around your home. You can also disable the side brush in order to avoid damaging carpets and rugs.

The device has a expensive price tag, but it has a variety of innovative features. It is important to remember that the device will incur periodic costs in the form of mopping supplies as well as regular maintenance. For instance the brushroll has to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter must be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad should be replaced every one to three months.

This robot vacuum mop has an excellent Amazon rating and comes with many physical automation features. These include the power button that serves as a general "Clean button as well as a Home' button that will send it back to its base station after completing the cleaning process. It also comes with a multifunctional dock that automatically empty the trash bin, fills up its water tank, and wash and drys its mop pads.

robot vacuum hoover  Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good option for busy professionals or anyone who needs to keep their home neat without spending too much time on chores. Its powerful performance, intelligent navigation, and long battery life make it easy to maintain a clean home with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it can handle mopping and vacuuming. The robot is divided into two components which include a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping module which includes a microfiber pad. Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping might seem a bit outdated, but they do mean that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the water tank.

Our testers found that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature was its accurate floorplan map, which it uses to draw an outline for cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app also gives you the option to set "No-Go zones" as well as virtual barriers that help to protect specific areas of your home from being cleaned with a mop.

We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up hair of pets. It was able to collect many of the hair that sheds from our cats. It even made it into the nooks and crannies on our stairs, where other robots have struggled. The noise levels of the robot were low, and there were some lovely jingles that let you know that it was starting and working towards its goal.

Its biggest drawbacks were its simple app and the need to switch out the modules when switching between vacuuming and mopping. The app is not able to store multiple maps. This can be an issue if your home has multiple floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for an intelligent robot that is capable of mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have some unique features which are worth a look. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its massive dock, which doubles as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base comes with a few control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning task, recall the robot or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to switch on the child lock, which is a nice option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more precise in recognizing objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it is entangled in a hazard, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you untangle it manually. This was a rare occurrence, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between use and can cause mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing sight in a space which is dominated by clunky boxy models.
