Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you need to clean up your mess quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the best way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops that I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as tangled wires.
They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble, picking up debris like human hair and pet hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a mini map of your home and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
Another notable characteristic of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
It comes with a range of other innovative features also, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to manually refill it. You can even use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile options. It's one of many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping features that are also priced lower than the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes setting up an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop easily.
It is important to note that the mapping process can take a while and may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. Additionally, object detection can be difficult to determine It was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to turn it over to get free. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features an inclination that is like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned, not just being swept. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and other clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. And the smart app lets you modify a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and place debris in a self sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without requiring a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that offers impressive features at a reasonable price. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also boasts a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously doused with water to pull dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation system performed well. automated vacuum stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. However, it had trouble with fine-grained debris and didn't always remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, and it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water, empty the dust bin as well as wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with an established schedule. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app, which provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available that are available. It delivers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, or customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of them.
The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that automatically washes and dries the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office clean. It can also reach the corners of my small apartment. It uses a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home so that it knows what to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
It also has some outstanding highlights, such as a self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to save time, it can avoid mopping rooms that aren't filthy. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping features, this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to messy water stains. It offers a broad range of features, including self-emptying dustbins, the water refill dock, as well as customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick knots in the rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we tested.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed well. It also comes with a selection of cleaning options to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small spaces. It's extremely quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces with ease. It's also excellent in removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secured and aren't connected to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
